Whoever said life is a two-way street was on to something. Reward and punishment, this for that, reciprocity—whatever you want to call it—defines more than just our economy. Our relationships, our careers, our institutions also run on the principle of “I’ll do X for you, if you do Y for me.” Everything in our world demands two-way love. Everything’s conditional. If you love me, only then will I love you. If you give to me, only then will I give to you. If you serve me, only then will I serve you. This conditionality plagues us at every turn and keeps us enslaved to fear, reservation, and insecurity. The talk of owing and deserving seems to be written into the fabric of human nature and civilization. It’s how our world works.

Thankfully, grace isn’t from our world. It’s otherworldly. God’s love is different from our love. Our love is two-way—it’s conditional. God’s love is one way—it’s unconditional. And it’s this kind of love that can alone change our hearts and set us free.

Join Tullian Tchividjian, Matt Chandler, Steve Brown, Scotty Smith, Elyse Fitzpatrick, David Zahl, Paul Tripp, Andy Crouch, J.D. Greear, Justin Holcomb, and Sally Lloyd-Jones on February 20-23, 2014 at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale as we explore God’s One-Way Love in the Christian life, personal failure, families, the church, pop-culture, and more. Our prayer is that Liberate 2014 will be a resting place for you, your family, your friends, your pastors, and your church leaders.

Come hear about God’s inexhaustible grace for an exhausted world at Liberate 2014.

Our official conference hashtag is #2014liberate. Find out what others are seeing and saying about this event, and join the conversation.

It did not feel like a giant production. It felt like an intimate family gathering, encouraging each other with the gospel. I loved the accessibility of each of the speakers.

Liberate “over-delivered”!

The speakers made much of how they are a sinner, and then made much of how great our Savior is. It was just a great reminder that it is TRUE! Being in ministry, I just wanted my students to be good, moral kids, but it was a great reminder that preaching the gospel is what I need to be doing every week. Thanks for that reminder when I started to feel weary about it.

Unity is the essential subject of grace alone, in Christ alone, declared by a diversity of preachers of different backgrounds or Christian denominations.

The thing I loved most about Liberate was the unity, and consistency of the message. The sessions built on one another, painting an amazing tapestry of Grace. I so appreciated the transparency of each speaker and willingness to share how God’s amazing Grace worked in and through their brokenness.

I enjoyed the quality of the speakers and the Gospel centrality of their messages, both individually and as a whole.

How refreshing it was to hear grace spoken to me over and over again. It was so liberating and has really filled my soul. I loved the authenticity of the speakers!

I loved being in a place where the theology of grace was in the sociology of the church it was preached in. Definitely worth the drive from Canada. Press on.

I have a resounding joy over the freedom we have in the gospel. As a PCA pastor, I was encouraged and convicted that I am not out in left field (imbalanced) for centering my preaching on Christ and his gospel.

I felt like I truly was getting a good grasp of Grace, the Law – and that the speakers were applicable. I have not always walked away from a conference feeling that way. Very well done! I hope to come next year and bring more friends.

This weekend was a refreshing reminder of liberating grace, shared in new and insightful ways.

Your conference is like healing balm to my religiously weary soul each year. Thank you!

"As a pastor, your role is to be an agent of grace, but there are very few "safe places" you can go to receive grace. When I was a pastor, there were those who wanted to help me build a mega-church, double the giving, increase the vision, make me effective, etc. Most of them had their own agendas and were often more interested in their agendas than in mine. At Liberate 2014, the Key Life Pastors’ Pre-Conference has no agenda except yours! Our desire is to come alongside you with encouragement and support. Come and be a recipient of grace for a few hours. It is our gift to you." -Steve Brown
